Construction in Atherton

Most construction in Atherton is high-end residential work: custom homes, major additions, guest houses, pools, and extensive landscaping. These projects often run for many months, so a rental that is serviced on schedule matters more than the first delivery.

Under Atherton Municipal Code 15.40.120, construction activity, including the pickup and delivery of materials and equipment, is allowed only Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is not allowed on Saturdays, Sundays, or Town holidays. We schedule every drop-off, service visit, swap, and final pickup for Atherton job sites inside that window.

If your permit has special conditions, such as a construction management plan, a designated staging area, or limits on street parking, send them to us. We'll place units where the plan allows.

California job site requirements

Cal/OSHA (Title 8, §1526) requires at least one toilet for every 20 employees of each sex, or fraction thereof. Crews of fewer than five can share one single-user all-gender toilet. Section 1527 covers washing facilities.
